Many yards, one platform

Run every yard on the same Scraplytics tenant: independent operations, consolidated visibility, transfers that tie out, owners who actually know what is going on.

The Scraplytics Branches view, showing multiple yards with consolidated metrics, per-yard pricing and inter-yard transfers.

Every yard side by side, with per-yard config and consolidated rollups.

Why two yards on parallel systems is worse than ten on one

Scrap-yard groups grow by acquisition. Each acquisition tends to bring its own software, its own spreadsheets, its own ledger. The cost of running parallel systems compounds with every yard.

Before

You acquire a second yard. Pricing rules are different, the local team buys different materials, the accounting jurisdiction is different. Your existing software was built for one yard - so you run two parallel systems and stitch them together monthly.

With Scraplytics

Add the new yard as a Branch in the same tenant. Its materials, pricing and operators are independent. The owner sees both yards consolidated. The accountants see each yard in its own jurisdiction.

Before

Material is short at Yard A and surplus at Yard B. Today this gets fixed by phone calls, manual transfer paperwork, and inventory ledgers that disagree the next morning.

With Scraplytics

Inter-yard transfer is a tracked record: source lot, destination yard, in-transit status, arrival confirmation. Inventory deducts from A when the truck leaves and adds to B when it arrives. No double-entry, no ledger drift.

Before

Owner wants a single dashboard showing all yards. Today you take screenshots from three systems, paste them into a slide, and the numbers do not quite tie.

With Scraplytics

The consolidated dashboard rolls up every yard with location filters and side-by-side comparison. Weekly tonnage by yard, margin by yard, top-supplier overlap across yards - one screen.

Inside multi-location

Per-yard configuration without per-yard sprawl

Each yard configures its own materials, ISRI grade adjustments, price book, weighbridge integration, supplier list, and operating hours. But the customer master, the GL accounts, the user directory and the audit log are tenant-wide. You get local autonomy where it matters and shared infrastructure everywhere else.

Cross-location dashboards built for owners

The consolidated view shows every yard side by side: today's tonnage, this-week revenue, margin trend, top suppliers, exceptions to watch. Drill into any one yard for the full operations view. Filter by region, currency or grouping. Owners stop calling the GMs for status - they read it.

Inter-yard transfers that keep inventory honest

Transfer a lot from Yard A to Yard B: source lot reserves, transfer order opens, the truck dispatches, arrival is confirmed at B, the lot lands in B's inventory at its WAC cost (or a configured transfer price). Both yards see the same record. No phone calls, no manual ledger entries.

Frequently asked questions

How many yards can I run on one tenant?+

Unlimited on Pro and Enterprise plans. The largest production deployments today run 12+ yards across 3 countries on a single tenant. The architecture scales linearly with the number of yards.

Can I have different currencies and tax rules per yard?+

Yes. Each yard has its own currency, its own tax setup (GST/VAT/sales tax), its own jurisdiction-specific compliance rules. Consolidated reports can roll up to a single reporting currency at configurable conversion rules.

Can users be restricted to specific yards?+

Yes. RBAC is per-yard. A scale-house operator at Yard A only sees Yard A. A regional manager sees the yards in their region. The owner sees everything. Permissions are managed in one place.

How does suppliers / customers data work across yards?+

Supplier and customer masters are tenant-wide so a supplier serving multiple yards is one record. But their relationship (pricing, credit limit, performance scorecard) can be per-yard, since the supplier may behave differently across sites.
