Trade Across Yards on the Scraplytics Marketplace
Move surplus material faster, source what you need, and let the system do the paperwork. Every accepted offer turns into a real deal with a Sales Order, a Purchase Order, payment, and a delivery — automatically.

Two live auctions, four fixed-price lots, live view counts.
Why yards open up to the network
The scrap industry runs on relationships, but the relationships are slow. A network that handles discovery, trust and paperwork lets you keep the relationships and gain back the speed.
Surplus material sits in your yard for weeks because moving it means cold-calling buyers, faxing specs, and haggling on the phone. Working capital piles up on the ground.
List a lot in 60 seconds with photos, grade and asking price. Verified buyers across the network see it instantly. Auctions and direct offers compress the sale from weeks to days.
You source from the same five suppliers because finding new ones means trade shows, broker calls and trust gaps. You leave price-discovery margin on the table.
Browse live listings from yards across the network. Counterparty trust scores from real completed deals tell you who is reliable. Make a direct offer or bid an auction without ever picking up the phone.
Deal closes, then the paperwork starts: SO at the seller, PO at the buyer, invoicing, payment chasing, logistics scheduling. A week of email tennis for what should have been a handshake.
Accept an offer and the SO and PO are drafted automatically. Payment is online (Stripe, Razorpay, M-Pesa) or recorded offline. Logistics is auto-scheduled the moment funds clear. The handshake holds.
From Listing to Delivery, One Workflow

Bid or Offer
Buyers place bids on auctions or make direct offers on fixed-price listings. Outbid alerts go out instantly.
Close
Seller accepts → a tracked deal opens. The seller's SO and the buyer's PO are drafted automatically.
Settle
Pay via card / Razorpay / M-Pesa, or record an offline bank transfer. Payment moves the deal to confirmed.
Deliver
A delivery dispatch is auto-created in the seller's yard the moment funds clear. No double-entry.
Rate
Both parties rate each other after the deal. Trust scores accumulate and surface on every future listing.
What the Marketplace Includes
Frequently asked questions
Who can list on the marketplace?+
Any verified Scraplytics tenant - meaning a real registered scrap yard with KYB completed. We screen new tenants so the buy side is dealing with operating businesses, not anonymous brokers.
How do you protect against bad-actor counterparties?+
Every tenant carries a trust score built from real completed deals: on-time delivery, weight match at receipt, dispute rate, payment reliability. The score is visible on every listing. New tenants start neutral and earn the score over their first deals.
What happens if the load weighs short at the buyer's yard?+
The dispute workflow opens on the deal record. Both sides upload weighbridge tickets and photos. The platform's default policy is final-weight-at-buyer for settlement, with a small documented tolerance. Pre-paid amounts adjust automatically and both ratings reflect the outcome.
What does the marketplace cost?+
Listing is free. Marketplace transactions carry a flat 0.5-1.5% facilitation fee (tiered by deal size) paid by the seller at settlement. There are no monthly seats or per-listing fees on top.
